Make sure you're targeting the correct keywords. Your site may be littered with terms in which you have no interest, yet somehow receive more attention than the ideal words and phrases.
Use the Keyword Cloud tool to
make sure this hasn't happened. Just enter your site's address, and the tool will show - in visual form, with the most frequent words being bigger - what words are emphasized. Clean up your cloud and you'll be better able to achieve search engine success.
