Reciprocal Links

Reciprocal links can be a bit shady, but, practically speaking, that's all the more reason to make sure they're working correctly. A big question concerns the matter of how well everyone's sticking to the arrangement.

An answer can be supplied by the Reciprocal Link Check tool - after you enter a number of URLs, it'll
see if links between them exist, and in the case that they do, what the anchor text says. Think carefully before engaging in this sort of thing, but it is a potential way of
achieving search engine
success.

AdSense Preview Tool

You've worked hard to perfect your site, and the ads Google places on it shouldn't detract from that vision. After all, ads are as visible as anything else on a page. So use the AdSense Preview tool to see what sort of stuff may appear.

Just enter a URL, select an AdSense ad format, and the tool will give its best guess of what Google would serve up. Checking this out can be especially useful when you're overhauling or updating a page; make sure everything is complementary and you'll have a well-coordinated online campaign.

Keyword list cleaner

Keyword lists can be extremely useful, and they can be found in any number of places. But they may not always be in a useful format, and, for that matter, may not be limited to recognizable English words. The Keyword List Cleaner & Number Stripper tool can help you address and resolve these issues.

Just enter a list and it'll remove numbers and strange punctuation marks. The tool can also eliminate any words that you deem "bad" or undesirable as key terms. Use the cleaned list as grounds for achieving search engine success!

Search Saturation

There's a lot to say for carefully targeted campaigns, but another strategy involves saturation. After all, in just about any drawing or contest, the person with the most entries has the best shot at winning, and online campaigns can work in a similar fashion.

The Search Engine Saturation Tool will let you know how many pages you (and your competitors) have indexed with the leading search engines. Just input the URLs, and you'll be on your way to understanding the odds and achieving /search engine success.

Difficult keywords

Targeting the wrong keyword can leave you battling giants; targeting the right one can lead to search engine success. So, depending on your current ranking, it may be best to avoid hotly contested keywords and go for those that are ripe for the taking.

The Keyword Difficulty Check tool will guide you on your way. Just type in a keyword or phrase, and it lets you know how easy or difficult it would be to rank for that term. Get high rankings for less-common keywords, or at least know what you're getting into with more popular words.

Know link prices

Don't pay too much (or get paid too little) for links! Whether you know nothing or everything about page rank, traffic, and back links, other factors can still make this business a guessing game.

That's why the Link Price Calculator does all the necessary computations for you. Just enter the address of the website in which you're interested, and it'll return a fair link price in U.S. dollars. The Link Price Calculator will help you save - or make - money.

There's not an endless number of words or phrases, but there are more than any one person is likely to think about. Use the Free Search Term Discovery Tool, then, to find keywords to fit your needs.

The Tool collects data from around 150 search engines; all the major American ones are covered, and so are some based in other countries. Just enter a term in which you're interested, and the Tool will return all the results you could want. One consequence: your online campaign should do better.

Duplicate Content

Things tend to be most valuable when they remain rare. Duplicate – or even similar – content can really hurt your rankings. Make sure this isn't happening by using the Page Comparison tool.

Simply enter two URLs, and the tool will compare page titles, meta descriptions, and meta keywords. It'll then compute the percentage similarity in content between the two pages. Stay unique and achieve search engine success.

Meta tags

Meta tags may not provide a magical boost, but they certainly won't hurt an online campaign. In order for them to work, though, you'll need to use them properly.

The META Analyzer can provide a sort of final check; once your work is done, just paste in your site's URL and click "show meta data." Make sure the page titles, meta descriptions, and meta keywords are all displaying the way you want them to, and then rest in the knowledge that your campaign has an extra edge.M

Check your site with spider eyes

Ensure that your content is being seen in the right light! Or seen at all, as the case may be - search engine spiders aren't average users, and may get lost while trying to crawl your site.

Use the Search Engine Spider Simulator to prevent this from happening. Just enter your site's URL, and the tool will show you everything through a spider's eyes. If your text, links, meta keywords, and meta descriptions all display as they're supposed to, consider yourself well on your way to search engine success.

Popular Keywords

An online campaign can represent a careful, deliberate plan, but you may also want to respond to the latest current events. If something's popular for a month, a week, or even a day, it could be a keyword worth targeting.

The Popular Searches tool will keep you up to date on these words and phrases; on any given day, it'll supply the top terms from Technorati, Flickr, Del.icio.us, Yahoo, Google, eBay, and a number of other sources. You'll have to decide for yourself if they're worth chasing, but it's another possible way to support your campaign.

Sitemap

Ensure that your content is easy for every search engine to read! A sitemap – and better yet, a sitemap in ROR (Resources of a Resource) format – can make this possible. And the Sitemap Tool can deliver that map to you.

The Tool will spider as many as 1,000 URLs, put together a sitemap in ROR format, and instruct you on how to upload the finished file into your site's root folder. After this is done, your site should be universally legible, and you'll be well on your way to search engine success.

Know your page rank

Knowing the PageRank of your sites is important – in a sense, PageRank is what every online campaign is all about. Yet determining a site's PageRank can be a nuisance, and the process for checking multiple sites is almost always slow.

Speed things up with the PageRank Lookup tool. This allows you to enter as many as 100 URLs at a time, click one button, and be on your way, PageRanks in hand (or on screen, as the case may be). You'll now know which sites need help, and confirm which sites are succeeding.

check for top keywords for domain name

As much as a memorable domain name can boost your visibility among users, a keyword-rich name can make you look better in the eyes of search engines. The best idea, of course, is to get a name that serves both purposes.

Use the Keyword-Rich Domain Suggestion Tool to explore your options. Just input a keyword that interests you, and it'll return a list of relevant domains (with your choice of extensions). Many of these may already be in use, but the tool will let you know what's still available. Pick one that's to your liking, and you'll effectively give any online campaign a jumpstart.

This information is compiled into a single score on a 10-point scale, and is a good way of measuring a campaign's overall success.

How Search engines view your site

Seeing your site the way the search engine bots do can help you race to the top of the search engine pile! Making sure "bot traps" are not in your site's code can do wonders for your rankings.

Search bots are trying to extract two things when they spider a site - text and links - also known as the cornerstone of successful search rankings.

A "spider-able" site will ALWAYS be more successful than those that aren't. To see your site the way the search engine bots do, check out the Spider Viewer.

Modifying auto discovery link

See this link http://forums.feedburner.com/viewtopic.php?t=3377 to modify auto discovery link in both new blogger and old version of blogger too.

What is your feed URL?

For submitting to Feedburner, you need to know about your blog's default feed URL.

Here it is the URL for the new blogger sites

http://earnmypocketmoney.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default

This is the default feed URL of this site.

The feed URL for site is just

http://YOURSITE/feeds/posts/default

Many browsers (like Firefox), and feed readers find your feed URL by checking your site. So, you need to change your site template, if you want the new Feedburner URL to be detected as default feed URL.

How to do this ... on next post.

Burn your feed

Burn your feed (what is a feed? ) in Feedburner. This service offers lot of opportunities to make your feed popular, and if your feed is very popular, it allows you to place ads into your feed. So, it will be another source of income. But you need to have lot of subscribers to your feed before they accepts you into their advertising program called FAN (Feedburner Ads Network). First you have to give your feed URL to feedburner. Next it will give you http://feeds.feedburner.com/_____. You have to choose the name at blank. It will be your new feed URL. Popularize this. Now offer your feed through E-Mail. Feedburner will allow you to do this. Check in the Publicize section. Either you can use their own RSS-to-Email service, or you can use Feedblitz. I would recomment Feedblitz. You can signup for feedblitz from Feedburner itself. Some more services Feedburner offers are, Headline Animator - animates your 5 latest post titles, you can put this in your email signature. More later........ Related: Google Acquired Feedburner

Creating your own site or blog

Creating a blog on Blogger is as simple as sigining up for a mail ID. You just need to have a google accout (If you don’t have one already, you can create one). Just provide title and URL (subject to availability).

After providing title, and URL; one template should be selected. Template is the site designed for you readymade. Now you can start posting, whatever you want.

Now, generate some great content on the site, and attract visitors. For to make money, you need to signup for some ad network.

Some Ad networks are:

Adsense

Adbrite

Ads For Indians

In these many programs, personally I would prefer Google’s Adsense program, as it provides ads that are related to my site’s content.

More on how to signup for Adsense and all in next posts…….
